Jessica Senecal

Jessica has a long history of working in healing and spiritual modalities.  She has worked in Reflexology and as a Birth Doula for many years. While Jessica was visiting her family in England in 1999, her father introduced her to her first Bikram class. After class, she recalls her legs felt like jelly, walking down the stairway, nevertheless she had a huge smile on her face, and knew she had found a form of healing that called to her.  Back in New York, she eagerly searched for Bikram Yoga and luckily found the only Bikram Studio in New York at the time on Chambers Street.  This studio became her weekly personal reviving and strengthening time away from her full time job as a new mum.  The idea of providing this unique yoga system to the people of Brooklyn really felt like an easy decision. Today she feels so grateful to still have this yoga in her life, it has encouraged her and helped to strengthen and to nourish her, throughout nursing school, doula work and motherhood.  Now as an RN she is currently furthering her skill in Holistic Nursing to bring together past and present skills that she has been learning over the past 20 years, adding to her repertoire with Cranial Sacral work and Bach Flower Therapies. As yoga shifts our collective health awareness, she hopes to bring tools for everyone to share and to continue to enrich the lives of the community further.
